Central to this endeavour is the notion of disruption, wherein participants are encouraged to approach challenges in novel and innovative ways, with a particular emphasis on leveraging information and communications technology. Key technological domains include IoT/Hardware, Big Data, Design, FinTech, Machine Learning, HealthTech, AR/VR, Future Mobility, and Blockchain technologies. Winning hackathon teams will have the opportunity to develop a tool in these domains, guided by industry judges who will also propose problem statements for the hackathon.
